Attorney Dorothy Bunce graduated from the University of Puget Sound Law School in Tacoma, Washington, in 1978. She passed the State Bar of Nevada later that year. She immediately entered into private practice with her own law firm.
In 1989, Dorothy’s husband passed away, leaving her with medical debt that prompted her to file Bankruptcy. This firsthand experience with Bankruptcy gave her a crucial understanding of how debts affect others who are now in her shoes. Attorney Dorothy knows how fast life can change. Being unprepared for unexpected situations without knowing what to do is an awful consequence of life. However, with the proper legal knowledge, you can recover from many of life’s financial catastrophes. Dorothy's life at home
At home, Dorothy lives with her partner, Joe, a former investment advisor, and her Papillons, Cody-Coyote and Butters, as well as her Burmese kitty, Coco.
Joe sustained a traumatic brain injury, which left him unable to find his way around. However, like a good Coyote, Cody knows his way home and assists Joe. Joe still possesses a remarkable understanding of financial systems and their impact on people’s lives.
As the new dog in the house, Butters is still shy about acting as a leader and worries about taking on the responsibility of caring for Joe. Butters is a sweet lapdog who loves being cuddled.
Coco came into our lives as a scaredy cat. During her first few months in our home, she would often hide in the closet. Getting her a kitty tower helped make her more confident, and she now bullies the dogs as she feels is necessary.
